Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Many times in the Bible we have read about people trusting God even though it did not make any sense. They followed him without resisting his presence or his voice. We see so many stories in the bible that speak about this truth. Today as we live our lives and make decisions on a day to day basis – often we are questioned of being in such a dilemma. We fight the thought of knowing what God wants us to do. We fight the very word we come across and through our minds we harness ideas and views subject to change and subject to evolve; all the time being ignorant and insensitive to the word of God.
God’s decree, direction and discernment are enough to live a victorious life. Paul and Silas found themselves in jail and the result was the salvation of the jailer. David was captured and thrown into the prison and the result was he became King David. Moses stammered and strutted but he found himself leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Still, today God’s hand reaches out to people and his love abideth in those who abideth in him. He teaches and admonishes those who would leave the cares of this world and be ready to walk in his precepts and his statues. The journey is long and hard but when we listen to our Abba father in heaven we know the path he will lead us to is the ultimate truth, the way and the life for each one of us.
