Psalms 119:104-105 “Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”
Even though the Holy Bible was written thousands of years ago, it is relevant even today. Every instruction, advise, wisdom and truth that is revealed in this holy book has stood the test of time. The Holy Bible has numerous examples of how the Lord led common, oppressed and insignificant people into victory through His word. The deciding aspect however was the fact that they were willing to hear from the Lord and follow His instructions. We may be in a different time period, but we serve the same God. The Lord who worked in their lives, is also working in our lives.
Let us be encouraged to reach out to the Lord and hear from Him at all times. Let His word guide and direct us in the right path. We may not be able to determine what is best for us, as our vision is limited. But when we give God the control, He is able to take us places that we never dreamed of. Let us therefore reject every wrong that comes our way and learn to hear from God alone. God’s word will always lead us in the path of righteousness that will bring blessings and victories. Even though our Lord has a brilliant future for us, He has also given us the free will. The path we choose will play a key role in how our future is going to turn out. Let us therefore submit ourselves to the Lord and allow Him to lead the way and enjoy the journey.
