Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man : Proverbs 3:3-4

In the heartwarming verses of Proverbs 3:3-4, we’re given a precious invitation by GOD to embrace kindness (Mercy) and honesty (Truth) . It says, “Don’t let go of kindness and honesty. Tie them around your neck, write them in your heart. Then you’ll be liked by God and people.”

Think of kindness like a warm hug and honesty like a trustworthy guide. These aren’t just good ideas; they are Godly values we must keep etched in our hearts. It’s an invitation to make them our identity.

Imagine walking through life with values of mercy and truth as your companions, not just for show, but because God expects that out of us, and they shape your character. “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy” Matthew 5:7 NIV. In Proverbs 3:3-4, GOD, promises that by doing this, you’ll be in good standing with HIM and the people around you.

So, as we journey together, let’s carry the beauty of kindness and honesty. Let them be more than just good values; let them be the essence of who we are as God’s children. And in doing so, find favor not just in the eyes of God, but in the hearts of those we meet on this incredible journey of life.
