Jude 1:2
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me”.
It is an open invitation from the Lord for all those who are tired, searching for answers, exhausted with the mundane or just looking for a direction. No man on earth can salvage you from the dark areas of your life. Wonder, why you are always failing? Or you are always fighting to bring food home; fighting to make a home; fighting to understand and be understood; fighting to seek the good things of life but every time it just slips away. Everything lies with the Lord Jesus. He is the answer to all confusion, anxiety and loneliness. Every kind of ordeal no matter how big or small; the Lord knows how to help you.
You might think, Oh! He is God! How can he help me? He made me and I need to help myself. But understand the one weaver who weaved you also knows the heart and mind you have. He knows every deep thought you have. He is a Gentleman, Our Lord; he will never force himself on us. He will just wait patiently for you to open the door to your heart so that he can show you the true meaning of love, peace and his mercies will flow through you, in you and make a new you.
Believe and trust him once; as you would do to all things of this world. If you can trust all things of this world that is created by man, why do you think twice to trust the true God who made you and me and this entire universe? If we can give a second chance to the man or woman who cheated us was unfaithful to us broke our hearts, why should we not give a second chance to the one who always loved us unconditionally from the beginning of time.
Why do we backslide? Why do we walk away? Why do we allow the devil to make a home in our lives? We have tasted the Great I am and yet we fall and falter. We ought to get back up and re commit our lives to Jesus. He loves us and will never ever leave us. Believe this. Someone loves you dearly.
