You, in your mercy have led forth the people whom you have redeemed; You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation. Exodus 15:13
The Almighty God redeemed the Israelites under the leadership of Moses from the Pharaoh and brought them out of their slavery. God performed amazing miracles by dividing the Red sea for them and made a dry land for them to move into their promised land. But the Israelites always grumbled and did not deserve God’s mercy. They talked against God’s chosen man and God’s plan for them. But in God’s great mercy, He led them forth. By day God led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light.
He is a merciful God. His mercies are overflowing and everlasting. Lamentations 3:22-23 says “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.”
Today, let us move into the loving presence of God with a confidence that His everlasting mercy and guidance will take us through our every situation into greater victories. As the Holy Bible says in Hebrews 4:16,” Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
