Deuteronomy 28:6
Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
What a beautiful blessing! Imagine yourself, walking in and out, every day as a blessing. Everything that you do glorifies God.
If we read Deuteronomy 28:1, God says, “If we fully Obey His Commandments…. This blessing shall come upon you”. And God desires to bestow this blessing, to those who obey His commandments.
What does obedience mean? It simply means,” Hearing the word of God and Acting on it”. It’s a decision to align our will with God’s will in humility and worship. It is when we completely surrender to His sovereignty and base our actions on His word.
Obedience is like a protected wall within which we find God’s provision and hear His voice. It is an act of worship. Our primary motive for obedience is “to show God that we love Him” This in turn will allow God to reveal himself to us and activates God’s power to work in our lives
Take a moment today to ask yourself, Do I obey God in everything that I do? If the answer is Yes, that’s great, God is faithful and he will reward you with His covenant blessing. If No, it is not too late, you can have a relationship with God today. He Loves you and calls you to repentance. He is faithful to forgive and give His strength to keep His commandments to receive His blessings.
