Psalm 122:1  I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

Are you glad like David to worship in church on a Sunday?

David was a true worshipper! He spent most of his waking hours in the presence of God. It was his inspiration and desire to worship Him!

From writing many of the Psalms in such poetic fashion to dancing for the Lord with thorough enthusiasm, David was a man after God’s own heart!

In fact, God waited for David in the tent of meeting every morning, so they could fellowship with one another. Some say God loved the tent so much because of the conversations He had with David, that He did not want David to build a Temple for Him. That task was given to his son, Solomon!

David spent his days in a real relationship with God in the tent of meeting, a place that held a very special place in both their hearts!
