Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” KJV
We have all experienced anxiety and fear in one way or another. There is no one who is void of this unpleasant yet very real feeling. Many scholars have written books and philosophers have come up with theories on how to conquer fear. Even though these may be good ways to tackle our fears and anxiety, it is however only a temporary fix and of course with no guarantee.
The above verse provides us with a permanent solution to overcome worries and uncertainties. It is more than just a solution. It is a reassurance from God Almighty. When we place our burdens into the mighty hands of God through prayer, He not only hears us, but also delivers us from our situations. Today, He is asking us to make Him our refuge in times of trouble and discomfort. This verse also brings to light the fact that feelings of uncertainties and fear are a part of life and all of us will have to go through times of hopelessness and doubt, but the ones who call on the name of the Lord in prayer will not succumb to such negative emotions and perish, but rise above their situations and march forward in confidence. This is the power of prayer.
So, the next time you feel uncertain about anything, be certain about one thing that as long as you have access to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, there is absolutely nothing to worry. His peace has got you covered. You will no longer operate in fear but in divine peace.
Amen we thank you Jesus, we honor you and we thank you for your blessings be with us lord in our lives in Jesus name I pray Amen hallelujah 🙌
