Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV)
‘Trust fall’ is a group game in which a person deliberately allows themselves to fall backwards, relying on other members of the group to catch the person.
When things happen that we didn’t expect, like a pandemic or when we go through a loss of a relationship, health, a job, dreams etc., we are commanded to ‘trust fall’ which is to place ourselves under the care of God who is more capable and with better vision than we have.
We don’t trust…
when we worry…
when we hurry and don’t wait for the Lord…
when we have sleepless nights…
when we turn to others first for help…
when we listen to human counsel and give it higher priority than Bible principles…
when we manipulate, control situations or people…
when we step in and take charge without praying…
when we cling to people to feel secure, needed and loved…

Trust God with all your heart, without any reservations, doubt, or hesitation because Lord Jesus Christ is unfailing.
Is your trust total? What is it that keeps us from trusting a living and personal God who is good and rewards those who seek Him?
We don’t know what ‘life tests’ will be for tomorrow, or next week, or next month, or next decade. What we know is – we confide in the One, our Lord Jesus Christ, who wins the battle for us.
O Lord, teach us to trust and not be afraid!
