Salvation through Jesus Christ

1 Timothy 2:15 – “Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

It must have broken God’s heart when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. God set some boundaries for them but also gave them free will. They could choose to obey God or disobey Him. Sadly, they didn’t realize the boundaries were set for their own good. They fell prey to the devil’s wiles and were cursed to a lifetime of pain, toil and hardship.

The good news is that God already had a plan for their salvation. He did not want His children to live forever as slaves to sin. God sent His only beloved Son to die in the place of wretched sinners, just so that we could be free from the shackles of sin. When we repent of our sins and accept Jesus’s blood sacrifice on our behalf, we are no longer bound. We are set free – no longer slaves to sin, but sons and daughters of the only Living God.

If your life seems accursed and you are weighed down by secret sins, it’s not too late to turn your life around. Don’t let your past chains and present choices steal the glorious future that the Lord has in store for you. Confess your sins to Jesus, repent and choose to live a life that’s surrendered to God’s will, marked by faith, love, holiness and self-control. When you seek the Lord above your earthly pleasures, you will receive immense blessings – not just for now but for eternity. Choose Jesus today!
