1 Chronicles 29: 12
“Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand, it is to make great and to give strength to all.”
Every one of us wants to do good in life and achieve success in our respective fields. We put in our hard work and do everything possible on our end to ensure we are up to date. We do it because we are expecting a reward for it. The reward can be getting a promotion, getting a new house, or upgrading to a better lifestyle.
Through the process, there is one thing we need to remember: that every wonderful gift comes from God. We all want to be wealthy and honored, but the Bible says that only God can provide these things for us.
It is completely normal to aim for rewards, but we should never forget that it is the Almighty who blesses you. He is the one who gives us the strength to carry out the purpose destined for each one of us. We, as his children, need to focus on building our relationship with God in all areas of our lives.
Matthew 6:33, ” Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” With our relationship getting stronger with God, we will see His miraculous work in each and every step. There will be both riches and honor given to us by God because it is in His hand to make great and give strength to all.
