Seek the Lord

Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth. 1 Chronicle 16:11-12

Be it at work, at home, or even at leisure, there are multiple activities we carry out. Each activity requires strength, wisdom, favor, skills, and more. We can busy ourselves to aimlessly achieve all that’s on our list, or we can seek God to help us see the big picture and make our life meaningful.

To seek His face means getting to know Him, His ways, and His thoughts. God’s ways and thoughts are above ours, but that does not mean we can’t know them. The Holy Spirit gives us the fullness to know God. Knowing Him personally and understanding His will is something we inherit as His children.

There is no need to get discouraged if our ears are taking time to hear His whispers or our minds to comprehend His directions. His many wonders in our daily life should be sufficient to fill us with hope for a brighter and better future and the happiest present.
