Psalm 92:1 – “It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.”
It is good to be thankful, and not to take anyone or anything for granted.
When it comes to our God, our thankfulness should be constant, day and night, and we should sing praises to His name, the Most High God. Note that the Psalmist says that it is good to sing praises to “Your Name”. And “where God puts his special presence, he is said to “put his name”. (Pulpit)
Therefore when we sing praises to our God, with a contrite and humble spirit, we attract His Presence! And His Presence revives our spirit and our heart! (Isaiah 57:15)
So don’t be shy, don’t just shout when you are watching an exciting sports match!
“Make a joyful noise to God” (Psalm 66:1); “Sing the glory of His name, make His praise glorious” (Psalm 66:2); because “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe”. (Proverbs 18:10)
Yeah, be thankful, make a joyful noise, attract God’s Presence, be revived, and run into His safety! Amen!
