Psalm 29:11 – “The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.”

The whole of Psalm 29, penned by King David, ascribes glory to the Lord. It talks about heavenly beings giving God the glory due to His Name and worshiping Him in the splendor of His holiness. It goes on to say how powerful the voice of God is – full of majesty, strong enough to break cedars and shake the wilderness. Verse 10 talks about the Lord sitting enthroned over the flood and as King forever.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that the same powerful God who rules over heaven and earth, gives strength to His people? You are not limited by the strength of your body that might crumble under pressure or weaken in sickness. Your strength is determined by your faith in the limitless grace and power of our God Most High.

The same Jesus who calmed the storms by His word is interceding on your behalf. He is able to calm the storms in your life as well. When you pray in the Name of Jesus, you are reaching right up to the Lord Almighty. It is only through prayer that you can reach the heart of God and tap into His mighty strength. The next time you feel weak or weary, do not become faint. Lift up your eyes to the Lord; He will strength you and bless you with His peace.
