Sufficient in all things through grace

II Corinthians 9:8:  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

God loves a cheerful giver.  We reap as much as we sow.  If we give willingly to God’s work or help someone in need, we will be repaid back in full.  So does it mean that we should give because we get back what we gave? No definitely that is not how this is understood.  Whether we are repaid or not, we should always be willing to lend to those in need.

God will fill us with His grace.  The Bible says that God is able to make all grace abound towards us in such a way that we will never lack anything and will be able to do every good work in abundance.  Abound means to have in plenty or in large numbers.  When God’s grace gets so plenty in our life, we will be blessed in all areas be it material or spiritual.  God is so rich in grace that He wants us to experience it.  Grace is the unmerited favour of God.  He just handpicks people and fills them with His grace so much so that others who see them will marvel at the favour that they enjoy so freely.  God does not give His grace so that we can sit around and gossip or misuse it.  God wants His abundant grace upon us so that we will be more like Him.  Loving, to be kind, compassionate, being full of faith, willing to help, etc., are some of the things that God wants seen in us which comes as a package with His grace.

Make use of God’s abundant grace so that you will never lack anything and be of great help to God and His people around you.
