Psalm 18:32-33: It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.
Without a shadow of a doubt, we can all say very assuredly that it is God who arms us with strength and it is He who makes our way perfect. He makes our feet like that of a deer or as surefooted as a deer. He will set us on high places without letting us slip.
Deer is known for their gracefulness and swiftness. They are known to have long and powerful legs suited to walk, run, and climb rugged woodland terrain. They never slip while climbing higher and higher. They are surefooted! God also trains us when we go through some rugged woodland terrain. He will ensure that we are strengthened by Him and He will also make our ways perfect. Just like how the deer does not slip while climbing up higher and higher, in the same way God will make our feet as surefooted as the deer. He will fill us with power and strength that is needed to go high up in our lives amidst our adverse circumstances. We will be able to feel His love on a more deeper level. God is training us through these rough times to continue the journey with swiftness and gracefulness even in the tough spots.
May God’s power fill our lives everyday to navigate the sometimes rough terrain of our lives. God can give us that power if we ask Him for it. As long as we have that power in us, He will set us on high places.
