Thank you, God! For Your Mercy Endures Forever. 

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”  Psalm 136:1

Giving  thanks to the Lord, for He is good! is something we need to do every day. Especially when God does a miracle, answers our prayers, or delivers us from sickness, we are full of gratitude. We hear people giving testimonies about such events, and it helps others build their faith.

Apart from this, God has done something so beautiful in our lives that often goes unnoticed—unanswered prayers. We lack the wisdom God has, and we do not simply understand that God is protecting us from so many things every single day. Are we grateful to God every single day without complaining? He does His part and gets us through the day and so many other things we don’t notice regularly, solely because of His mercy.

If we reflect on how many times we have been saved, forgiven, and protected, our hearts will soften towards His mercy because, even though we didn’t deserve it, His love and mercy took care of us. How loving and great is our God? That’s why we give thanks continually, for He is good!
