The Astounding Craftsman!

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well Psalms 139:14 (KJV)

If you had an opportunity to change something about yourself, what would that be? Most of us have gone or are still in that phase of evaluating yourselves as to ‘how good you are?’ and measuring yourself on the scale of the world.

But, Bible beautifully tells that, you are a perfect plan of God and was created for a purpose. All you have got to do is trust Him just like king David trusted God to be perfect in all His ways (Deuteronomy 32:4) over 3000 years back. God created you as a unique individual, there is not another like you in this entire universe and your uniqueness is because God has specific plans for your existence (Jeremiah 29:11). Based on Genesis 1:26, you are created in the very image of our God.

Let’s look at a few amazing facts about our body, it shows God as an astounding craftsman.

1. Laid end to end, an adult’s blood vessels could circle Earth’s equator four times!
2. The human eye can distinguish 10million different colours.
3. The human brain has a memory capacity which is the equivalent of more than four terabytes on a hard drive
4. The acid in our stomach is strong enough to dissolve Zinc, yet it doesn’t destroy the stomach because the stomach walls are constantly renewed
5. 100,000 chemical reactions occur in the human brain every second
6. 300billion new cells are created each day, 50,000 cells died and were replaced by new ones while you were reading this.

Today, take time to thank and praise your Astounding Craftsman and put your trust in Lord Jesus Christ who lay His life for you.
