Psalm 103:19 KJV “The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.”
The above verse declares God’s sovereignty over the entire world. It puts into perspective the fact that His greatness and might is unmatched and unsurpassed.
There is no doubt that the Lord of the Holy Bible has absolute dominion over the heavens and the earth. He has authority over the living and the dead, and His throne cannot be shaken.
Irrespective of our beliefs, attitude, power and position, God rules over every nation and tribe. God’s reign over His people is a kind subjugation, governed by the right approach and a positive frame of mind. He does not rule over us with the intention of condemning or putting us to shame. On the contrary, His rulership is laced with mercy, grace, love and justice. It is His divine and righteous character that makes Him the perfect leader.
There is a reason why our God has no rival. His unfathomable divinity makes Him superior and sovereign over everything. The providence of God leaves no room for chance or competition between Him and another power.
So, the next time you are in trouble and need deliverance, know that the one who rules the world is able to rescue you from every situation and give you success. He sits on the throne to look after His creation and transform us so that we become worthy of His blessings and the brilliant future, He has in store for all those who believe in Him.
