The Lord is Your Refuge

Psalm 37:39

The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.

Today’s Bible verse teaches us that real help and saving grace come only from God, not from our own power or ideas. When problems arise, God is a safe place for the righteous, offering His security and peace. He doesn’t just watch over us; He actively protects those who believe in Him.

Being righteous doesn’t mean being perfect, but rather relying on God. If you trust Him, wait for Him, and follow His path, He will be your strong defence. Even when life feels overwhelming, God remains steady and true.

When you’re unsure, stressed, or afraid, turn to God instead of worrying. He protects you when you are weak and saves you when you are in trouble. Help from God may not be immediate, but it is always reliable and comes at the right time.

Are you going through a hard time? Be encouraged that God is your safe place. Trust Him, stay strong in your faith, and let Him protect your heart. The God who saved you will also help you through any difficulty you may face.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my refuge and strength in times of trouble. During this season of Lent, help me trust You completely and wait patiently for Your deliverance. Keep my heart steady and my faith strong as I rely on You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
