Psalm 84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
In contemporary times, we encounter many challenges that test our faith, strength, resilience and devotion. As His believers we too will have to drink from the cup that He drank from. But this is nothing that we should fear; as the psalmist says, “Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage”. God is the true source of strength that we need to overcome our battles victoriously.
When we place our trust in God – living a blessed life without lethargy – God’s strength empowers us to navigate through life’s valleys and mountains. We are filled with the courage to face our fears and the wisdom to make just decisions. When we surrender unto Him, we no longer depend on our own limited understanding but on the ultimate wisdom and plan of God.
As we go about our day, let us set our hearts on the pilgrimage of God’s presence. Let us continue to seek Him and His plans in our prayers and through His word. Consequently, we will be at par with His purpose for our lives, blessed beyond measure; and set-up to bring glory to His kingdom.
