Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.
As we live in a world of opposition and uncertainty, it is a comforting thought to know that the God we serve is our mighty defender. Isaiah reminds us that no weapons formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgement, we shall condemn.
As believers of Christ, we are not exempted from trials, tribulations and attacks. But what we do have is the assurance from God that He will protect us. His love shields us from the schemes of the adversary and assures us victory with His guidance against the obstacles that come our way.
When we are spoken against, we feel disheartened and tend to rely on our own strength. God, being the perfect Father, asks us to cast our burdens and worries onto Him. We are called not to condemn the lies and accusations by our own understanding; rather rely upon the power of the word of God.
So as we start our day today, let us remember that no matter what the intensity of the problem and what circumstance it dictates; we as the servants of the Lord, will rely upon our Master who will protect us and give us the justice and victory we are promised.
