What does God think of you?

Job 1:8:  And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

God had three things in support of Job.  He was a perfect and an upright man, feared God and shunned evil or refrained from doing evil.  God testified these things about Job to Satan.  Job found favour in the sight of God.  He was blessed beyond what a normal human can comprehend.  He was the wealthiest man in the land of Uz.

Though Job feared God, he was tested by Satan.  He lost everything but because he held on to God, he was blessed in a double measure than in his former life.  He even got “new children.”  Everything around him was new.  God gave Job a new beginning and a fresh lease of life.  God is able to turn around your situation for good.  His word says sorrows may last through the night but joy comes in the morning.  His word also says that His faithfulness is new every morning.  The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.  He loves us if we continue to remain faithful and steadfast in our faith.

Let us cross examine our lives today.  Will God be proud of the life that we are living?  Are we making Him glad every day or are we making Him glad only on a Sunday? Is there something in our life that needs a renewal or needs a change? Is your heart steadfast in your faith in God?  Do you have an unwavering faith irrespective of the circumstances that you go through in your life?  Let us try to be perfect and upright, God fearing, and shunning evil with all our heart so that we will be blessed beyond measure.
