WHAT GOD THINKS (of us) AND DOES (for us)

Jeremiah 29:11– “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Once a Pastor said: ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if we each had a book about our lives that we could refer to about all the events and issues that were going to happen with us, guiding us to always choose the right paths, telling us what we should study, where we should live, who we should marry, and so on?  Well, this book exists, but we do not have access to it, not yet.  It is in heaven.’

The only thing we can do to have these answers, is to trust God, obey Him, and constantly seek His guidance through prayer. Especially when everything is bleak and confusing.

He says that we should be attentive to His voice and follow Him. (John 10:27);

That our ears will hear His voice saying: this is the way, walk in it. (Isaiah 30:21);

That He teaches us what is best for us and directs us in the way we should go. (Isaiah 48:17);

That He determines the times and the boundaries of our habitation. (Acts 17:26);

That He knows the thoughts He thinks towards us. (Jeremiah 29:11);

That He thinks thoughts of peace towards us. (Jeremiah 29:11);

That He wants to give us a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11);

That He will take hold of our hand and He will keep us. (Isaiah 42:6);

That His yoke is easy to bear and His burden is light. (Matthew 11:30);

That with Him all things are possible. (Mark 10:27);

That His will for us is good, pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2);

That He loves us with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3);

That He reveals all things hidden to us. (Jeremiah 33:3);

That there is nothing that can separate us from His love. (Romans 8:39).

Halleluiah!!

Do we need to say anything else? Besides: “Run to God the Creator, surrender entirely to Him, and let Him lead you!”
