Work to eat your fruits

Psalm 128:2:  Thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

God worked 6 days of the week and rested on the seventh day.  He liked what He had created.  The works of His hands are worthy of appreciation.  He proved to us that whatever we put our hands into will be beautiful and blessed and liked.  He wants man/woman to enjoy the fruits of their labour.

Paul said in his second epistle to the Thessalonians that “if a man will not work, he shall not eat.”  God said through the psalmist, “you shall eat the labour of thine hands.”  It is important that we work to eat.  God does not want lazy people.  He does not want people to struggle to eat their food.  When we work, we get to nourish our physical bodies with all available nourishment and care.  Some people are workaholics that all that they know and do is work, work, work, and work.  Some people’s expenses do not match their income.  On the other hand, there are some people who learn to live within their income, such people are blessed.  They do not have to borrow money or be buried in debts.   They have learned to eat the labour of their own hands.  They enjoy the fruits of their labour.  They also tithe faithfully and still have some extra money left at the end of each month and save that for a rainy day.  With such people, all will be well.  God will bless their endeavours on their route to prosperity.

Learn to honour the word of God by obeying what is written there.  Honour God by giving to Him what is due Him.  You will definitely reap your blessings in all areas of your life.
