Psalm 139:7-8 NKJV

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.”

We live in a crowded world… and it’s not just the physical world around us. It’s also the world of social media – WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram are constantly reminding us of all the people we’re supposedly connected with. But there are days when, despite having so many online friends and real-life loved ones, we still feel lonely. Sometimes, it feels like we’re just navigating life on our own and no one really understands us.

If you’ve ever felt like that, today’s verse is just the encouragement you need. You’re never alone because you can never flee from God’s presence in your life. He has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Even if your own family and friends don’t keep in touch with you, the Lord is always there for you.

The next time you feel lonely and left out, remember how precious you are in the Lord’s sight. His eyes are always on you and He’s always just a prayer away. He will be with you through the ups and downs. You don’t have to live a single moment on your own. God understands what you’re going through, and His grace will help you every step of the way.
