“All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.” – Psalms 66:4
Let’s start with how everyone worships, while some people can worship celebrities, some worship their careers. A few others, worship themselves and so the truth remains that we all worship and glorify something or the other.
Ever wondered why? As children of God let’s go back to where it all started, our innate quality to worship comes from God because we were made to worship. As a true worshipper we are called to praise God, celebrate God, honor God, and give all our attention to Him! Psalm 66:4 gives us an insight on how everyone and everything that God made are to sing praises to His name and worship Him for who He is.
Before we can glorify God, we must find out who He is. When we choose to follow Jesus, we must find out who God is, because He sends His Holy Spirit to live in our hearts. God’s Holy Spirit teaches us how to glorify God, and stop glorifying everything else. Therefore brothers worship is not just an act of singing and swaying but a holistic lifestyle children of God are called to live, not just on Sundays but everyday.
Let us make Jesus our leader and listen to God’s Holy Spirit, and we will be able to worship God in spirit and in truth! When worship becomes our lifestyle, peace, joy, love and all good things becomes our portion in His presence. Let us build an army of worshipers, let all the earth give Him praise!
