Proverbs 10:22 –The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
When we walk with a clean heart in the Lord he removes every obstacle in front of us. He transforms our very being making us richer than many movie stars, writers or people of standing or position. His subtle hand in the making of our being happens only when we are ready to let go and let God do what he needs to do. We cannot change human nature. We cannot change the things around us. Only God can. Only Jesus can. He will only change things around us when we make the effort to accept and place our trust on him; have faith on him and let go. You can hold on to your dreams and become frustrated each day when your dream is but a dream. Let Jesus make it a reality for you. Help him make it a reality for you. How do we help him? By trusting in his love and embracing his guidance and his voice; we will be able to be richer not only in our houses, our careers and the smaller things of life; but also in our souls.
A man is not rich with the materialistic value of this world that he attains. He is rich when he blindly and cheerfully depends on the Lord and does what he needs to do. Did David have a plan every morning for his future? He like any shepherd took out his sheep and obeyed his parents every day. Did Abraham or Issac or Jacob have any ambitions? They had none but only did what they had to do every morning and what they thought was right in the eyes of man and in the eyes of God. And God blessed them.
