Seek repentance

Exodus 15:2 – The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Exalt the Lord when you are low in spirit. Exalt Jesus when you are confused. Exalt the Great I Am when you are seeking a path and a future. Exalt him when you are in doubt. In every form of bitterness or anger or jealousy exalt him; give him the reverence and he will take that what you give him and make it fruitful for you in your life. One does not need to exalt our living God only when we are happy or joyous. We don’t only praise him when he showers us with his blessings. But we need to praise and worship even in the times when we don’t feel like it. When the words and the songs of our praise do not sound melodious to our ears, it will be a sweet aroma unto the throne of the Lord.

David when he sinned and was tempted and when he gave into temptation; did he stop worshipping the Lord. What did he say? Did he hide within a room and stop talking to the Lord?

And David wrote a prayer of repentance for his sin. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Let this be our prayer today and every day
