Mark 2:17: When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, they that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick, I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Do all people need a physician to take care of them or is it just the sick who need a physician around? Obviously, it is the sick who need a physician. Similarly, Jesus came to save us, sinners who were lost in sin and pitifully hopeless and not the righteous.
The gospel of Jesus brings us redemption and forgiveness from sin. It liberates the captives and sets them free. It brings us hope and eternal life. It brings healing to our physical bodies as well as healing to our emotions. He came not for the righteous but He made us righteous who were once sinners. He loves everyone but not sin. What is your ailment today? Do you need to get well or be made whole? There is this Great Physician, Jesus who is willing to heal you and give you a life of great peace and abundance.
Commit your life to Jesus. Tell Him the areas in your life where you want a special touch from Him. He is still asking if you want to be made whole and if you want to experience the newness in your life. Once He touches your life, you will never be the same again. Come to Him to experience a transformation in you, inside out.
