Matthew 9:25: But when the people were put forth, he went in and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
People were put OUT and Jesus went IN. The maid arose. These three things happened at the house of Jairus. Jesus went to heal the daughter of Jairus, but she was already dead. The mourners were lamenting and mourning outside the house. Some people laughed at Jesus when He said that she was only sleeping. They did not have faith in Him. As soon as the doubters and scorners were put out of the house, Jesus went in, and brought the girl back to life.
What prevents our promises and blessings from not happening? It is doubt and lack of faith. As soon as we cast these things away from our life, miracles seem to happen. God cannot work where there is doubt and fear. Jesus said that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains. It is this mustard seed kind of a faith that we so often fail to possess and activate. Our lives would be so full of joy if we learn to stop doubting God and stop disobeying Him.
Throw away every doubts and fear that come in the way of a blessing and yourself. Begin to see your life as God wants. Develop an attitude of faith in God despite the many painful moments that you go through. God comes in when doubt goes out. Believe in Him for your blessing.
