Pray everyday

Matthew 14:23:  And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray; and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Jesus prayed to God, His Father.  He has set an example to us that it is essential to pray and/or talk to God.  He sent the people away and took time to talk to His Father.  When everybody left Him, He was alone but with His Father.

Jesus did many miracles.  He had a heart of compassion.  He was so full of love and mercy.  He was also full of grace and ready to accept and forgive anyone who went to Him.  He never condemned anybody.  He was a perfect God and a perfect human.  He prayed to His Father even though He had a busy working day everyday.  He never neglected His prayer life.  How much more should we spend time with God?  Some of us do not have enough time for prayer because we live a corporate lifestyle.  We seldom have time for anything, and everything is done online.  It is time we get back to God and seek His presence in our lives.  We need to wake up from our slumber and cry out to God for His mercy upon our lives.

Never push prayer out of your life.  As much as possible, take time off your busy schedule to talk to God.  We have to seek God when we can find Him.  When we call upon God everyday, He will show up in our times of need.  Cultivate the habit of being with God, even if your present circumstances are driving you mad.  God will take care of everything that concerns us provided we build a life of prayer and thanksgiving.
