2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Haven’t we all come across at least one wicked person? Or been in a situation where you have done what is right but this evil person has perverse plans to shatter and drain all your good work?
It’s so encouraging to know that despite the nasty and malicious people that you may be surrounded by, some who may even call themselves ‘believers’, YET the Lord is faithful. He will never let you down. He’ll stick by your side and guard you from the cruel one. When you feel weak and worn out, He Himself will strengthen you and set you on a firm foundation. Irrespective of what your enemies plot against you, your Lord is the One who WILL establish you! All you need to do is trust Him, be patient in waiting on His timing and be deeply rooted in His Word. Have your prayer groups, believing friends and trustworthy elders uphold you in their prayers. Paul knew it’s always a blessing to be under a strong prayer covering and constantly asked his church for prayers.
Beloved, when you can’t find anyone who can be counted as trustworthy and true, remember that your Lord is faithful. He is the unchanging One who is your anchor and rock of peace. You can depend on Him at all times and call out to Him again and again, knowing that He sees your tears and hears you when you call.
