Finding Strength

Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
1 Chronicles 16:11 KJV

Life can be very demanding, with so many roles to be a part of and in this journey we all feel exhausted, tired, hopeless at some point in our lives. So overwhelmed and lost with the burdens of life, it feels like being stranded in a desert, where we look for a spring of hope to find our way out.

Sometimes these circumstances can engulf us with fear and anxiety of not being able to free ourselves from these situations. Now where can one find this spring of hope, in a desert with absolutely no resources or rather extinguishable resources? For all the answers and solutions we look for in these times, there is only one source we can look up to and that is God, to be more specific His word that holds His promises, His directions and His plans for us.

From time to time God’s word has been and will be our source of encouragement during our struggles, a spring of hope as we surrender our weakness to God and He gives us His supernatural strength. As God said- ” My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9. This verse is very specific with what it claims, God is very clear about His children and their struggles being covered by His inextinguishable power, a source that will never fail us.

This is the kind of assurance we all need to feel during our trials and this assurance is ever present as God is aware of everything we go through. All we have to do is seek His strength and His presence now and forevermore!
