Psalm 34:8 – “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him.”

If you love to eat you will agree that one of the most popular television reality shows today involve food.  One can either watch people cooking, or, people eating a variety of dishes.

And sometimes watching them cook or eat makes us hungry and provokes us to crave what we are watching.  But we cannot either taste that food, neither it can satisfy our hunger.

Our God can “satisfy our souls as with the richest of foods, or with marrow and fatness.” (Psalm 63:5).  Psalm 119:103 reads “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth”.  “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” (Psalm 34:10).

Jesus invites us to partake from the richness of His goodness by simply trusting and believing that He is “ the living bread that came down from heaven.  “If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever”. (John 6:51).

Jesus invites us to taste and see that He is good.  When we taste his goodness, we are blessed; when we taste His goodness we lack nothing; when we taste His goodness, He delivers us from all our troubles; when we taste His goodness, we get to live forever!
