He’s still working on me!

Psalm 120:1

In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and He heard me.

Lying lips and cunning tongues. Betrayals and false accusations. Aren’t we all familiar with the likes of these? All this and more, grieving our souls causing us anguish and utter pain. We are desperate for the Lord to come and help us, deliver us from the cruel savages.  It’s not wrong to feel distressed, in fact in our distress we ought to cry out to the Lord, confident that He hears us. The Lord’s delays are not His denials. He will come through for His people. He has promised to never leave us, nor forsake us, and so, He walks with us even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. We may feel like giving up on the situation, but He never gives up on us. He desires to strengthen us that we may overcome the situation through His power and counsel.

When you feel like the burden is too heavy to carry, know that He is building your resistance. When you’re facing obstacles too stressful, He is building your resilience. When you’re going through something where your character and integrity is being challenged, He is building your reputation. Seek His Holy Spirit, refuse to give in to the situation knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. He’s still working on you, to make you what you ought to be…because you are His Masterpiece!

The grind thought of this pilgrim psalm is that the God created the heavens and Earth takes the time to watch over and care for all those who trust him and his word. No we will be will be allowed to destroy our Fellowship with God. Family friends or wealth must never be viewed as our ultimate source of help in this life., that belongs to God the only source from meeting our needs physically and spiritually. We must trust in him with all our heart and seek him for grece to help us in our times of need.

      Dear Rishi Pal Singh Varma,

We are glad to see that the Lord has reassured you through this word. We join with you in faith as you receive the promise in Isaiah 45:24-Surely they will say of Me, ‘In the LORD alone are righteousness and strength.'” All who rage against Him will come to Him and be put to shame. In Jesus’s Name!
