Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. Psalm 148:13 KJV
The above psalm is a revelation of the power and the grace of God`s glory. The psalmist urges every creation to praise the name of the Lord, as His name is higher than all other names. Every creation of God has a certain amount of glory in them. The sun, the moon, the rain, the clouds and every other creation of the Lord is glorious and worthy to be praised.
However, the one who put all these wonderful things in place is far more superior to all of His creations. His glory is above the earth and the heaven.
The heaven is the throne He sits upon, and the earth the footstool He stands on. There is no comparison to Jesus, for His glory is exalted above all celestial and terrestrial bodies. His name commands praise, not just from men, but also from the angels and saints.
What a glorious God we serve. There is no end to His excellence. Let us make a commitment today to praise Him for who He is and not for what He has done. Let us honor and exalt His mighty name for He is the king of glory, unmatched and supreme.
Psalm 150:6 verse says “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” This is a commandment from God. No matter what your circumstances are in life today, take a moment to praise Him, honor Him, thank Him and worship His glorious name. His name will stand the test of time.
