Patience in Prayer

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.(KJV) Luke 11:9

In the above verse, apostle Luke is pointing out on the importance of persistent praying. Tenacity and firmness while praying are the two key ingredients for any prayer to be effective. How we pray is as significant as what we pray for. It is imperative that all prayers be aligned to the will of God and equally important to stand resolute in our prayers until we receive an answer from God.

Jesus assures His people through this verse that repeated and persistent prayers will always be heard.  One must be patient and enduring in prayers believing that God will answer it in His time. Even though we are living in times of uncertainties, we can be sure of one thing, that our ever faithful and unfailing God will never disregard any supplications made unto Him by His people. The above verse is indicative of God`s love for His children which makes Him respond to our requests.

God is inviting us all to come to Him with the requests of our heart and believe that every persistent plea that is made in line with His will, will certainly be fulfilled. Let us make a commitment today, to be steadfast in our prayer life and continue to ask until its given, seek until its found and knock until its opened for us.
