Isaiah 41:13 NIV
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand.
There are moments when your heart feels heavy – when weariness, discouragement, and loneliness press in. That’s when it’s time to refresh, reboot, and restart your soul. Begin your reboot by embracing Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest… For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Find a quiet place where you can be alone with God. Pour out your worries, cares, and concerns before Him. Then surrender them completely with the prayer, “Thy will be done.” This is the moment to refresh your spirit and ask God to replace heaviness with joy.
The next step is to reboot your trust. Don’t try to instruct God or cling to control. His plan is always the best. When you rise from prayer, resist the urge to pick up those burdens again. Instead, walk forward with confidence, knowing God is in control.
Finally, it’s time to restart with a new heart – one that sings praises all day long. Psalm 55:22 declares: “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” Push the restart button and trade your heavy heart for one filled with joy, sustained by His presence, and refreshed by His promises.
God’s personal involvement in our lives is always evident. He is not distant but intimately present in every detail of our lives. He holds our right hand, offering His strength and support to keep us from stumbling. We can depend on God’s help in every situation. Let’s put our trust in the Lord by recognizing His active presence in our daily lives and constantly relying on Him for guidance and support.
