To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy to the only God our Savior be glory. Jude 1:24-25

Jude, the brother of James, pens a powerful letter to believers, urging them to contend for the faith and beware of false teachers. In the closing verses, Jude exalts the Almighty God, who has the ability to keep us from stumbling and present us faultlessly before His glorious presence with great joy.

The Bible overflows with examples of God’s faithfulness in keeping His people steadfast. Joseph’s remarkable story stands out as he endured trials in Egypt, remaining faithful and trusting in God’s providence. In the end, God exalted him, and Joseph’s heart overflowed with joy as he stood faultless before Pharaoh.

Another profound example is found in the life of Daniel. Despite being a foreigner in Babylon, he remained unwavering in his devotion to the Lord. When his enemies plotted against him, God shielded Daniel from harm, keeping him from stumbling. As a result, Daniel’s unwavering faith and commitment to God’s glory became a radiant testimony of God’s power.

In the New Testament, we witness the Apostle Peter’s journey of faith. Jesus prophesied Peter’s denial but also assured him that He had prayed for him, that his faith would not fail. In the face of temptation, Peter stumbled temporarily. Through God’s grace and restoration, he was presented before Christ, without fault, ready to fulfill his calling with great joy.

Meditating on Jude 1:24-25, let’s draw strength from these examples. God keeps us from stumbling, presenting us faultless with great joy. Trusting in His unfailing power, we stand firm in the faith, giving glory to the only God our Savior, who guides us with steadfast love.
