If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
This is the beginning of three very important ‘ifs’ in life.
- – If you fall, slip in your decisions or get weary with the burdens of life, do you have someone who can help you up and pray with you without expecting something in return, but because they care about you?
- – If you feel cold and lonely, tears streaming down your face, because you have been rejected, ignored or forsaken, do you have someone who will wrap you in the warm words of their comfort without any malice through encouragement and their mere trustworthy companionship?
- – If you are struggling, battling and overpowered in your mind, emotions or sickness, do you have someone who will stand by you, building you, motivating you to hold on to hope and to have faith?
Beloved, if you have blessed relationships that fit the above, be grateful and rejoice. If you lack in any of them, pray and ask the Lord to open up divine encounters that will be a blessing unto your life. Invest in your relationships, beginning with the family that the Lord has placed you in both physically and spiritually. Relationships require commitment. Commitment requires effort, sacrifice and forgiveness. May the Lord Jesus grant you constructive relationships that will be a blessing unto you and where you will be a blessing too! In Jesus’ Name!
