Proverbs 3:6
“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
People face numerous choices throughout their lives, ranging from insignificant decisions to those that can completely change their destiny. We tend to rely on our own knowledge – attempting to understand everything and figure it all out on our own, so we can avoid mistakes and control the outcome. But the more we try to manage everything on our own, the more uncertain and overwhelmed we may feel.
Today’s verse brings a different perspective to our understanding. We are called to acknowledge God in all our ways and honour Him – not just on special occasions but in our daily routines. To acknowledge God means welcoming Him into our minds as we develop our plans and make our decisions, because we believe He understands what remains hidden from our view.
God doesn’t promise a life without challenges, but He does promise direction. As we continually seek Him, He directs our journey. He brings clarity to our minds and leads us along the right path, even when we fail to understand the road ahead.
Today, take a step of faith and choose not to depend only on your own understanding. Every choice you make should include God. Rely on His wisdom. Invite Him into your decisions, your planning process, and every move you make. Trust that He will make your path clear, because we serve a God who knows it all.
