You are a beloved child of GOD

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6 

What a joy it is, when an infant is born into a family, the parents long to hear their child call its father “papa” and its mother “mama”. Why is it so that parents long to hear these words from their child, even from the stages of infancy when they can hardly speak? The reason is the feeling of belonging these terms bring in, when a child calls its father Papa, the father senses a feeling of belonging and the child as well. Similarly, when we were born again, GOD has given us the spirit of HIS son or a spirit of sonship, so we are no more strangers but are an integral part of GOD’s family and we are his own children. 

GOD longs to hear us call HIM Abba, father. He senses the belonging towards us when we call him abba, father. We too as HIS loved children, sense a feeling of belonging to a BIG GOD when we cry out to him ABBA father. When we know who our father is, we are stronger and feel safer. The thought, “God will take care” will rule over our hearts and minds, when we trust in our GOD as our father. 

Just like every father tries his best to keep his children happy and safe, our GOD is doing HIS best to keep us happy and safe. We can only imagine what is GOD’s best. This is the beauty of living a life in Christ and being loved by GOD so selflessly. Let us spread this joy today, that we experience in being united with Christ Jesus.
