Isaiah 41:13
For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
The Lord your God encourages you to NOT FEAR, He WILL help you.
The Lord your God takes hold of your right hand. This is not a literal depiction to put down left handed people, but an important picture of His help and strength taking hold of your life. The majority of population use their right hand, which becomes easier to explain when used in the context. Our right hand has more strength, more power, more control simply because it’s used more than our left. It’s more of a natural ability.
The Lord says, when you are feeble and afraid, HE Himself takes control even of your natural abilities. He becomes your strength, your power and your control. Because He is holding your hand, you are far more capable and far more equipped than you would be on your own. It’s like you’ve surrendered the steering wheel of your life into His hands. When the father holds the little hands of his child, the child feels no fear, for the child is secure and confident in who is holding his hands and leading him. Beloved, your Heavenly Father has taken hold of your right hand, what do you have to fear? In every high and every low, He will NEVER LET GO! Trust Him and seek His direction and will!
