Believe!

Romans 10:9 – “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30).

We are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalms 139:14). We are an extremely complex creation of our God. Our faith in Him takes place in an intangible part of our being – we don’t believe in Him with our fingers, or toes, or hair. It doesn’t take place in our beating heart, but in our spiritual heart.

We believe not with our brain, but in our mind, which is also intangible. Our belief is not processed with our reason, our natural side, but we believe and process this beautiful truth when we engage the supernatural side of ourselves.

Our belief is manifested in our body, when we use our ears to hear the word of God, and our mouth to speak and confess that Jesus was raised from the dead.

Our belief is manifested in our brain, when our mind accepts this truth.

Our belief engages the birth of our spirit.

We did not see Jesus with our eyes, yet we believe and confess and we are blessed, as Jesus said: “blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29b).

It is complex (natural, tangible) and simple (supernatural, intangible) at the same time:

Believe with your heart, with your soul and with your mind and you will be saved!
