Isaiah 58:11 – “The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
It is so incredibly reassuring and comforting to believe and trust in the Lord and to rely on His promises that never fail. To know that when we are lost or confused, the Lord is there to guide us continually, not momentarily.
How reassuring to know that when we are sad, depressed, lonely, discouraged, that the Lord will satisfy our soul in drought. When we want to give up, to know that our God will come through and lift us up.
How encouraging to know that when we are weak, God will strengthen our bones, and restore our strength.
All we need to do is to surrender completely to our good and merciful father, from whom all blessings flow; Who is the giver of life itself, from Whose throne flows the water of the river of life, as clear as crystal, (Revelation 22:1). Then we will become like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Dear Father, we pray for Your powerful, lifegiving and incessant fountain to flow in and through us, so that not only we get strengthened and renewed, but that through us others are also filled up. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
