1 John 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Love in action, love manifested, love that is expressed. The God we serve is a God of action. He is the Lord of manifestation. He will go to all extents to express what He wants to. And if that is who HE is, can you imagine this: He sent the BEST demonstration of His love-His only Son who dwelt in the highest heavens down to Earth!
Reason?
That they who are dead in the spirit would now live. They would experience life to the fullest and beyond. No longer bound, suppressed or wasting away. They would not live life, one day to another, but would now be able to partake in something far better.
Beloved, our Father God didn’t sacrifice His Son so that we might only have access to Heaven through the Cross. But that we would live a supernatural life through Jesus Christ. This is a fact!!! When you understand the enormity of this beautiful verse and the power that it carries, you will realize your inheritance and power as a Son of God. Colossians 1:13 says, For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son. We’ve been transferred!!! We’ve been relocated, transported and uprooted from these earthly shackles!
Romans 8:11 says that the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and He will also bring your mortal bodies to life through this Spirit who lives in you. THE SAME SPIRIT that RAISED JESUS-IS NOW IN YOU!!! Think of what can happen when you recognize, get sensitive and surrender to His precious Spirit. Romans 6:4- We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. A new life looks nothing like the old. If you want to partake of it-believe, behave accordingly, and you will become like HIM!
