Where His blood ran red

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:10 KJV

God loves us and He reveals this nature of His love in forgiveness, discipline, protection, provision, grace, mercy and liberation. Where does all this fit? Yes, it is our saviour and messiah, our very own Jesus Christ. It’s overwhelming, unbelievable and definitely undeserving to see this kind of radical grace God showers upon His children.

However, this is the foundation of our faith. What does the journey to the cross reveal to us? How has God shown us His power and His love? We all are hopeful creatures, are we not? We fall down and get up, we fail and try. Where does all this hope come from? God created us to be hopeful in Him, to trust in Him, look up to Him. For it is, in Jesus’s resurrection ours is guaranteed. This assurance is what our faith is strengthened on, it is this truth we look up to.

God created mankind out of love, to preserve this love, “in accordance with the will of God we who believe in the message of salvation have been sanctified that is, set apart as holy for God and His purposes through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ the Messiah, the Anointed once for all.” It is this unlimited love that inspires us to be more like Jesus, set apart, anointed and righteous by His precious blood. What can we conclude by this? God’s unlimited love is a proven power of God’s love in action. Let us cherish, praise and honor this privilege of sanctification given to us through Jesus alone. May He be exalted now and forevermore!
