Many people join the race from childhood, trying to reach an imaginary gold finish line. Their appetite for appealing things in life gets more extensive. The pressure of constantly competing with others to achieve their goals tires them.
As believers, we must not be distracted by our material needs. Instead, our focus is on God first, and He will meet our every need (Matthew 6:33). God enjoys seeing His children do well in life. Being the head means we are blessed both material and spiritual because we have God as our utmost priority.
Life doesn’t guarantee that we won’t experience difficulties; our current struggles are merely temporary. But with God, we can overcome every obstacle, no matter how big or small. We cannot make ourselves successful. God is the one who always works for our success in Christ.
God has promised to make us the head, not the tail, because everything is possible with Him. We will be the head and not the tail, above and not below, as only God can, as He has promised in His Word. Therefore, we can trust in His Word regardless of our situation and expect success!
