Declaring His Greatness

Psalm 145:10

All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, and Your saints shall bless You.

Everywhere we look, we see evidence of God’s greatness. The rising sun, the changing seasons, the breath of life, and the beauty of creation all quietly testify to His power and goodness. Trees grow, birds sing, and oceans move according to His design. Without speaking a word, everything God created points to His greatness. Creation praises God simply by fulfilling its purpose.

However, David draws an important distinction. While creation praises God silently, His people are called to bless Him intentionally and speak of His greatness. We are called to do more than exist; we are invited to acknowledge His goodness.

David also reminds us to “speak of the glory of Your kingdom” and “talk of Your power”. Too often, our conversations revolve around problems, news, and daily struggles. We speak far less about what God is doing in our lives. When we share His goodness, we become messengers of His grace. Our words can inspire faith, build hope, and reassure others that God is still at work.

God’s kingdom is everlasting. Generations come and go, but God remains the same. His rule is unchanging, His love is constant, and His power never fades. Because His kingdom lasts forever, our praise should continue, and our testimonies should help others remember His faithfulness. When we speak of His goodness, we not only honor God, but we also strengthen the faith of those around us, pointing hearts toward His eternal kingdom.

Let our lives become a daily expression of praise – in our words, our actions, and our gratitude. As creation declares His glory, may we intentionally bless His name and make His greatness known wherever we go.
